Buddha Purnima is one of the important festivals in India. Lord Buddha told the importance of Spirituality. It is also called as Visakah Pooja in India. In Thailand, it is called Visakha Bucha. In Malaysia, people call it as Wesak. The joy and happiness is also known as Vesak. Devotees visit temples by wearing white clothes. They made offerings to the Lord Buddha statue. The Purnima night is referred to as one of the religious days in India. It is celebrated on the first full moon day in the months of May and June. Also, it is except for the leap year when this festival is celebrated People prepare ‘Kheer’ and is considered as a symbolic dish of this festival. The tradition of celebrating Buddha Purnima is different from region to region and from country to country. It is the festival of the Buddhist group. He is also known as Prince Siddhartha .
